Palmarès national 2026 du label Villes et Villages Fleuris
Cette année, 21 tournées ont été organisées du 1 juin au 30 juillet et 65 membres de jury ont été sollicités (dont 14 présidents de jury et 8 jurys pour le prix de l’arbre) afin d’identifier et de récompenser les communes qui placent le végétal au cœur de leur développement.
Notre palmarès met en lumière des collectivités locales engagées pour des territoires plus agréables, durables et résilients face au changement climatique.
Les Fleurs d’Or : 7 communes lauréates en 2026
This rare distinction recognizes the exceptional work accomplished across all of the label’s focus areas: quality of life, environmental management, landscape enhancement, and community engagement.
A prestigious award, the Fleur d’Or is granted for one year and may be awarded only once every six years.
Les nouvelles 4 Fleurs : 3 communes décrochent le niveau d’excellence
The fourth Flower, the label’s highest level of excellence, recognizes local governments that integrate nature into a comprehensive plan combining quality of life, biodiversity, heritage, sustainable management, and citizen participation.
It marks an important milestone in municipalities’ commitment to harmonious and sustainable development.
13 prix nationaux pour récompenser les initiatives spécifiques
Notre palmarès 2026 célèbre également les communes ayant mené des actions spécifiques à travers ses prix nationaux, qui mettent en lumière leur engagement environnemental ou social :
National Tree Award
It recognizes local governments that, as part of a comprehensive and coherent environmental and landscape policy, demonstrate exceptional and innovative management of their tree resources.
Award for Community Gardening and Sustainable Food Systems
In partnership with Semae, this award recognizes a municipality that has implemented outstanding educational and instructional initiatives for young people to introduce them to gardening and raise their awareness of environmentally friendly practices. It also recognizes municipalities that have carried out participatory initiatives aimed at strengthening social ties through plants (community flower planting, shared and family gardens, awareness days, tours, and activities, etc.). It further highlights the municipality’s strong commitment to providing its residents with access to community gardens to encourage local food systems, as part of a broader approach to healthy and sustainable food.
Plant Diversity Award
In partnership with VALHOR, this award is given to municipalities where the use of plants, in all their forms, contributes—through their diversity—to the structure, aesthetic appeal, and livability of the community. In particular, it recognizes species diversity, the originality of plant combinations, the promotion of local identity, and public awareness.
Heritage Preservation Award
It recognizes municipalities that enhance their heritage through high-quality floral and landscape design, consistent with local identity, in public spaces accessible to all.
Tourism Attractiveness Award
It highlights municipalities that use nature as a means to raise their profile by combining a diverse range of offerings (sustainable tourism, nature, culture), showcasing local expertise, and actively promoting their region to visitors.
Prix de la préservation de l'environnement
Il distingue les communes qui mènent des actions exemplaires pour préserver les ressources naturelles, protéger la biodiversité et favoriser les mobilités douces, tout en repensant l’aménagement paysager pour redonner une place centrale au piéton et au végétal.
Les communes renouvelées 4 fleurs en 2026
77 communes confirment leur niveau d’excellence. Le renouvellement de la quatrième fleur illustre la constance de leur engagement et leur capacité à faire du végétal et du cadre de vie un véritable projet collectif, durable et exemplaire.
