To better understand trends in urban irrigation—in terms of water use, methods, organization, and communication with residents—Plante & Cité, in partnership with the CNVVF, is launching a national survey for municipalities.
Open through February 15, this survey will help define the scope of current practices and assess how they have evolved over the past 10 years.
Objectives:
- To assess the current state of water resource management practices in French local governments (in terms of water conservation strategies and alternative water sources).
- Gather feedback on best practices for designing green spaces and managing water to ensure the long-term viability of plantings and the benefits provided by plants.
- Develop guidelines to assist in the design of green spaces and the conservation of water resources.
Target Audience: Water agencies, irrigation equipment manufacturers, engineering firms (soil and/or water), landscape architects, and public administrators (local governments).
Allow 45 minutes to complete the questionnaire.
