The team from the National Council of Villes et Villages Fleuris CNVVF) attended the Mayors and Local Governments Fair, the must-attend annual event for local government stakeholders. It is a place for discussion and inspiration.
As the primary point of contact for elected officials and local governments, the CNVVF is committed to supporting municipalities in their transitions. The Mayors’ Expo provided us with a valuable opportunity to:
• Re-establish contact with institutional partners and strengthen our collaborations to build more sustainable communities.
• Listen to and stand alongside local elected officials, who are the true drivers of the ecological transition.
• Make our voice heard in the evaluation of public policies and explain how the label is evolving to address current challenges: combating land sealing, adapting to climate change, and reintegrating nature into our living environments.
