Our team of 75 professionals is beginning its mission to evaluate 111 municipalities participating in the certification process. This tour across metropolitan France is dedicated to highlighting local initiatives through 68 rigorous criteria, which include, in particular, sustainable resource management, biodiversity conservation, land restoration, public awareness campaigns, the development of sustainable transportation, and waste management.
The members of our jury—which includes elected officials, municipal staff, and experts in urban planning, landscape architecture, horticulture, and tourism—will award or renew the highest honors, the “4 Fleurs” and “Fleur d’or,” as well as various national awards. These awards recognize municipalities’ efforts in the areas of biodiversity, heritage, and environmental education.
